 | By roadThe C-32 freeway (before A-16) connects Sitges with Barcelona in 30 minutes, and with Tarragona in 45 minutes. By train
Sitges has very good connections with Barcelona and Tarragona by means of the RENFE neighborhoods trains. Approximately every 15 minutes there is a train that in a 30 minutes duration connects Sitges with Barcelona. The new service of trains connects Sitges with Barcelona without no shutdown. From Barcelona Sants they leave daily trains towards the rest Spain and Europe. It is in project the construction of a train of high speed that will unite Barcelona with Madrid in only 3 hours, and that will connect with the European road network. Per airplane The Barcelona International Airport, the Prat, is to 28 km of Sitges. They operate the great majority of airline companies. Flights diarly to the rest of cities of Spain and Europe, as well as to those of other continents exist. The airlift guarantees a continuous connection with Madrid. From Sitges is possible to be arrived at the airport in train. Every thirty minutes there are trains that unite the Sitges station with the Prat Llobregat station where a train can be taken that arrives until the same airport. The same route also can be done in inverse direction: from the airport to the Prat de Llobregat and of the Prat de Llobregat to Sitges.
