The shopping area of Sitges is located in the city centre, around the streets Sant Francesc and Major, the streets de Jesús and de les Parellades, the streets going down to the sea and the streets Sant Gaudenci, Sant Josep, Sant Bonaventura and Àngel Vidal.
Sitges is a tourist town with free business hours and many shops open on Sunday and public holidays.
Sitges has a remarkable amount of antique shops and markets. The outdoor market is held on Thursday. In the Middle Ages, it already took place around the City Hall and the Church. There you will find clothes and kitchen utensils among a wide range of things. The feelings market in la Torreta takes places during the weekend in winter and every day during summer (see timetable).
In the local market, next to the station, you can find any kind of fresh food: vegetables, fruits, meat and fresh fish (see timetable). On Saturday morning, the farmer market is held around the City Hall.
